Coravin was established in 2013 by Greg Lambrecht, a medical device engineer with a passion for wine. The story of Greg’s first Coravin invention dates to the late 1990’s when his wife was pregnant with their first child and Greg found himself throwing away wine after it had oxidised. 
Greg subsequently invented the iconic Coravin Timeless device, encompassing a non-coring Needle which gently passes through cork, allowing wine to be poured without opening the bottle. This revolutionary device ensures remaining wine stays perfectly preserved in the bottle for years.
