Champagne and Food Pairing
Before Dawn Davies joined The Whisky Exchange she had worked across London’s restaurants as one of the scene’s leading sommeliers. One of the things that Dawn delights in is the art of food pairing bringing together different flavours for the maximum impact.
In this paid ticketed session, Dawn will be matching four very different food types with specially selected Champagnes to show how to delightfully exploit their differences. The line up will feature wines from Bruno Paillard, Billecart-Salmon, Gosset and Taittinger paired alongside aged Comté, smoked salmon, pork pie, and nougat.

Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Iteration N° 26 Experience
We are thrilled to be welcoming Laurent-Perrier back to Champagne Show this year and excited to announce the creation of an immersive masterclass to celebrate their Brut Millésimé 2012 and Grande Siècle Iteration N° 26 releases.
At Laurent-Perrier, they see the art of blending as a way of drawing out the complexities and ironing out the vagaries of vintages. Being able to draw on mature stocks from across the region allows their Chef de Cave to create a harmonious and luxurious wine in the form of their Grand Siècle. -
Meet the Maker
Champagne Show is about bringing people who love Champagne together, and this session is a great chance to meet the passionate producers behind some of the more interesting wines being poured at the show.
In this free session, we will be joined by three winemakers including Manon Boutillez-Guer. The 27 year old Manon has taken over the family vineyard in the Montagne de Reims and is now working her 5.25 hectares of mostly Chardonnay in a sustainable way. The end results speak for themselves.

Vintages from Rare Champagne
Only created in exceptional vintages Rare is a Champagne that balances rich fruit with a distinctive racy salinity that makes it a brilliant wine for pairing with food as well as enjoying it on its own.
In this paid ticketed session, we will be exploring three different expressions of Rare: Rare Millésime 2013, Rare Millésime 2008 and the Rare 2002 each with their own distinct profiles revealing the house’s style as well as the characters of the vintages.
